This is a patented material created by Pfanner Austria. It is extremely tear-resistant and meets the highest demands. It is also water-repellent, as well as oil and dirt resistant. The Gladiator® material is found on the front of all Gladiator® pants where you face the most abrasion.
KlimaAIR® Temperature Regulator
This patented Pfanner technology is used in various pants, jackets, and boots. It operates as a dual-purpose inner layer, ventilating and cooling in warm temperatures and insulating in cool temperatures.
Nanoshield®
The patented Nanoshield® technology is a water and stain repellent leather that is exextremely easy to clean and resistant to natural acids. It can be found on many Pfanner shoes.

SympaTex® Membrane
SympaTex® is a type of fabric that is branded as waterproof but breathable, made and licensed by SympaTex Technologies GmbH. The fabric features a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane that is laminated to fabrics either on its inner surface or sandwiched between two fabric layers. This brand is found on products such as the Venture Rain Jacket and others.
Gore-Tex® Membrane
Gore-Tex® is a waterproof, breathable fabric membrane and registered trademark of W. L. Gore and Associates. Gore-Tex® can repel liquid water while allowing water vapor to pass through and is designed to be a lightweight, waterproof fabric for all-weather use. This brand technology is often featured on Pfanner boots and footwear.
Vibram® Soles
Vibram S.p.A. is an Italian company based in Albizzate that both manufactures and licenses the production of Vibram branded rubber outsoles for footwear. Vibram revolutionized footwear outsoles and continues to lead the industry with both new and proven technologies to this day. All Pfanner footwear features Vibram outsoles.

The Boa® Fit System is a patented system integrated on select Pfanner footwear and other market-leading brand partner products. The Boa® system is designed to enable consumers to dial in to fast effortless precision fit.
PRIMALOFT® Insulation
Primaloft® is a synthetic insulation proven to provide an efficient thermal barrier, be of equivalent density, possess similar compressional properties as traditional down, with improved wetting and drying characteristics, and have superior loft retention when wet. Unlike down, PrimaLoft® is able to retain 96% of its insulating capability when wet by maintaining its loft, making it ideal for use in cold, wet conditions. This technology is found in the ThermoJacket, ThermoVest, and Primaloft Toques.
37.5 Cocona Natural Technologies™
37.5® Cocona Technologies use coconos polyester and is designed to control core-body temerature. This is ideal for base layers, such as the Pfanner Zip-Neck Shirt.
