We have changed the manufacture of the Merino Thermal Socks, and it now follows a 100-year-old knitting method. This method significantly increases the wear comfort through the airy structure – an incomparable walking comfort. The merino wool does not absorb any odours and offers an optimal insulating capability. In addition, the wool conducts moisture away from the foot. The reinforced heel and toe areas makes the strained points even more durable.

These are my favorite socks out of the bunch I have. Working outdoors in Canadian winter, my feet and toes stay really warm. The merino wool is REALLY nice. Moisture wicking is critical when working in the cold and these are no exception to Pfanners quality. I have put these through the wash 50 times and they still fit and work great.
